LEAVING WELLINGTON TO-DAY
[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] WELLINGTON, Friday.
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council to-day. In the evening, Lord Bledisloe, accompanied by the Lady Bledisloe, opened the annual exhibition of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts. Their Excellencies will leave Wellington to-morrow to visit the Waitomo Gaves and to make their -first acquaintance with, the people of Te Kuiti, Te Awamtitu and the surrounding districts. Their Excellencies will return to Wellington- on Thursday. ' • '
