RUAPEHU SEARCHERS.
FUND TOTALS £696. The fund established by the Mayor of Auckland as a mark of appreciation of the services of ihose who assisted in the search for the missing trampers on Ruapehu closed on Saturday, but several donations were received during the weekend. The fund now totals £696 2s 2d. The latest donations are:— £5 5s 6d.—C. L. MacDiarmid. £2 2s each.—Mr. and Mrs. Allan Moody, J. 5.8., "Tramp." £2 each.—Employees of A. Yates and Company, Limited, A. Ely. £1 Is each. —Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Smeeton, G. Graham Russell. £1 each. —Stuart MacDiarmid, H. C. Robinson. There were several donations ranging from 16s to 4s 6d.
