LEAGUE EXPENDITURE.
SIR T. WILFORD PROTESTS. DESIRE FOR ECONOMIES. GENEVA, Sept. 10. Tlio High Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir Thomas Wilford, strongly protested against the increased expenditure of the. League of Nations, and stated that New Zealand would welcome a reduction. Sir Thomas suggested that a small committee should be appointed to effect economies.
