UNEMPLOYMENT IN BRITAIN. COMMITTEE TO REPORT. British Wireless. RUGBY, Sept 2. The Minister of Labour, Sir Henry Betterton, after consultation with the Trades Union Congress, the employers' organisations and the Treasury, has appointed an advisory committee to consider and report on the method of dealing with the anomalies which are in operation under the Unemployment Insurance Acts. Viscount Burnham will preside over the committee, which consists of members of trades unions, employers, and Treasury officials.
