STRUCK BY TRAMCAR.

ELDERLY WOMAN INJURED. CONDITION FAIRLY SERIOUS. Through being knocked down by a tramcar in Symonds Street early last evening Mrs. Amelia Claudia Smith, aged 54, of 9, Violet Street, Mount Albert, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion. Her condition at a late hour was regarded as fairly serious. Mrs. Smith had alighted from a tramcar and was crossing the street when she was struck by another tramcar on the other set of rails.
