FLAG CUP ESSAYS.
AWARD OF JUDGES.
The first prize in the Flag Cup essay competition, which is competed for annually by schools in the Auckland district, has been won this year by David Roberts, of Belmont- school. The award was made yesterday by the Auckland Education Board, on the advice of the judges of the essays. The following pupils have been commended:—L. Carder, Richmond Road school; Alice Quelch, Devonport school; Hilda Cameron, Belmont school.
