Tangail, a town in the Dacca division of East Bengal, which is notorious for terrorist activities, was the scene of another outrage. Mr. Alexander Cassell, Commissioner of the .Dacca Division, was shot in the thigh by a youth when ho was about, to visit a co-operative bank. The assailant escaped.
