SALARY REDUCTION.
ANCHOR SHIPPING LINE. (Recoived August 23. 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, August 23. The engagements of the employees of the Anchor Line, Glasgow, will be terminated on September 30 with the option of re-engagement on October 1 at reduced salaries. The Anchor Line (Henderson Brothers), Limited, of Glasgow, owns a fleet of 16 ships, including the Caledonia, 17,646 tons; the Tuscania, 16,991 tons; the California, 36.792 tons; the Cameronia, ] 6,297 tons; and smaller vessels. They i"un in conjunction with the Cunard Company.
