HALF THE WORLD'S SUPPLY. HEAVY RECENT INCREASE. WASHINGTON, August 21. The Federal Reserve Bank reports that the American gold stocks are 4.983,000,000 dollars (more than £1,000,000,000), which represents nearly half the world's supply.
