GIRL GUIDES.
A Girl Guides' Association, has been formed for the districts of North cote, Birkenhead and Birkdale. The districtcommissioner, Sliss W. Johnson, presided at- the inaugural meeting, which was addressed by Sirs. R_ G. Coates, the provincial commissioner. The district secretary, Sliss Bettina Edwards, was also present. .-In executive was elected comprising Sirs. A. Campbell, Sirs. F. Slaxwell, Sirs. J. Potter, Sirs. J. F. Potter, Sirs. H. Sladdox, Sirs. A. £. Harding, Mrs. E. Giifillan, Sirs. J. Barrott and Sirs. W. B. Darlow. The following were also elected associate members:—Sirs. J. P. SlcPhail, Mayoress of Birkenhead, Mrs. R. Slartin, Mayoress of Northcote, Sirs. F. W.„ Wilkes. Mrs. W. SL Jacks, Sirs. W. Richardson, Mrs. F. Taylor (captain), Sirs. G. B. Chinnery, Sirs. Shutes, Sirs. R. Cadness, Sirs. W. F. Ward, Sirs. James, Sirs. A. Borrows, Sirs. C. Duke, Mrs. W. Newman, Sirs. Collier, Sirs. B. Hayman, Sirs. Oldbury, Mrs. Scarr, Sirs- E. G. Bailey, Mrs. Horsn, Sirs. Slorriscn. Sirs. C. G. Isbister, Sirs. Hvde. Sirs. Atkins, Sirs. E. SL Walters, Mrs. Bear, Sirs. SL Trist, Sirs. T. Jolt, Sirs. Fawcett. Sirs. Blake, Sirs. Whit combe, Sirs. Hall. Sirs. H. Barrow, Sirs. Simpson, Sirs. W. R_ Norton, Sirs.
