SHOT ON FRONTIER.
REFUGEES FROM RUSSIA. POVERTY CAUSES FLIGHT. BERLIN. August 16. The 37 remaining inhabitants of Moschanowka, a village near the Polish border of Russia, who have been reduced from prosperity to poverty under the Soviet, decided to flee to Poland with their possessions loaded on handcarts. Ked guards discovered them when they were crossing tho frontier. The runaways refused to return and several were shot dead, and only 21 reached Poland.
