DIOCESAN HIGH SCHOOL.

OLD GIRLS' LEAGUE. DANCE AT PETER PAN. Gay music and charming frocks were features of the dance which was held by the Auckland Diocesan High School Old Girls' League, in aid of the Maori girls' scholarship, in the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening. The dance was exceptionally well attended by past pupils of the school and their friends, and the many" picturesque frocks worn made a most attractive scene on the dance floor. On arrival the guests were received by the president, Miss Eleanor Roberton, who wore a frock'of aln.ond green georgette, and by the vice-president, Mrs. G. J. S. Fisher, who was in' black satin and Oriental lame. The members of the committee present were: —Miss Gwen Kingston, who wore a frock of beige lace over shell pink satin; Mrs. P. G. .
