Crawford, formerly commander oi the Aorangi, arrived by the Marama from Sydney yesteiday, accompanied by Mrs. Crawford. Captain and Mrs. Crawford intend to live in Auckland, The Rev. W. McDonald, of Epsom, has. received notice that he has gained by examination the degree of Doctor of Divinity"" of the Webster University, United States. The Auckland Presbytery last evening conveyed its congratulations to Mr. McDonald on his success.
