WARD SISTER APPOINTED. .[by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI. Tuesday. Forty-seven applications were received by the Whangarei Hospital Board .for tho position of ward sister. ■ Sister 13. A. Orsmann was appointed. She received her training at Christchurch Hospital and was for fivo years sister in tho Wairau Hospital. She was subsequently appointed to the Napier Hospital and after the earthquake was matron in charge of the casualty hospital. }
