FAREWELL TEA.

A very enjoyable tea to farewell two of their members, Mrs. P. Noonan, who is leaving shortly for a six months' visit to Norfolk Island, and Miss Violet Oliver, who is leaving Auckland for England, was given by the Ex-Service Women's Association in the Tudor tearooms yesterday. The tables had been very attractively arranged with Iceland poppies in shades of gold and tangerine and the two departing guests were the recipients of many good wishes for an enjoyable time abroad. Those present included the president, Mrs. H. L. Gould, Dr. Buckley ' Turkington, Mrs. R. T. Michaels, Mrs. G. Garlick, Mrs. R. Grieve, Mrs.. Ranfurly Smith, Mrs. McComb, Mrs. C. Smith, Mrs. B. Woods, Mrs. F. C. Webster, Miss J. N. Teape, Miss G. Luxford, Miss L. Bryant, Miss M. Calders and Miss Wilkinson Smith.
