AKARANA YACHT CLUB.
The Akarana Yacht Club held its weekly dance in the clubhouse on Saturday evening. Music was supplied by Stacey's Revellers and streamers and novelties were distributed throughout the evening. Among those present were the following members of tne committee: — Mrs. F. Jeffers, who wore floral blue crepe de chine; Mrs. E. B. Webster, ivory embroidered crepe de chine; M' ss er " coo, green floral georgette; Miss M. R. Ratcliffe, green figured ninon. Among the members and friends present were: — Miss M. Jeffers, in apricot crepe do chine'; Mrs. Gannon, powder-blue taffeta; Miss M. Brooks, almond-green crepe de chine; Miss A. Haslam, figured ninon.
