MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED.
COLLISION AT A CORNER. CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS. [BY .TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PAEROA, Monday. A serious motor collision between a motor-lorry and a motor-cycle occurred at Paeroa at 6 o'clock this evening. The lorry was driven by Mr. H. Lloyd and the cycle was ridden by Mr. C. F. Allen, of Paeroa.
Mr. Allen was proceeding toward Waihi when he met the lorry on a corner. The collision was head-ou, and the cyclist was seriously injured, receiving a compound fracture of the right leg and serious facial injuries.
He was taken to the Thames Hospital, where his condition is reported to be serious.
