NGARUAWAHIA REGATTA.
HEAVY FALL IN PROFITS. [from our own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Friday. In a report submitted to a general meeting of the Ngaruawahia Regatta Association last evening, the chairman, Mr. J. C. Christie, stated that the receipts at tho last regatta amounted to £BOO, as against £1241 for the 1930 fixture. The actual profit was £lO 12s, as against £435 for the previous year. There was a considerable increase in the prize-money offered this year, and in ( the circumstances tho chairman - said the position was very satisfactory.
The association's assets exceeded its liabilities by £963.
