CARDINAL DEPORTED.
PRIMATE OF SPAIN ARRESTED. CONVEYED TO FRONTIER. MADRID. .Tune 35. Whilo Cardinal Scgura, Primato l of Spain, was returning to Toledo from Romo yesterday lio was arrested at Guadalajara. Civil Guards stopped the motor containing tlio Cardinal, his brother, and another priest, and escorted them to the office of tho Civil Governor, where they were detained until midnight. Cardinal Scgura refused a request that ho should leavo Spain. Ho was allowed to spend the night in a monastery.
This afternoon tho police inspectors removed him by car to the frontier. Tho President, Senor Zainora, refuses to discuss tho reasons for Cardinal Segura's deportation.
