WHALE ON LINER'S BOW.
IMPALED IN ATLANTIC. LONDON. Juno 15. Tlje body of a whalo 40ft. long dropped off tho bow of tho Red Star liner Wcstemland on her arrival at Plymouth. If, is believed it was impaled on Thursday afternoon, when, tho liner encountered a school of whales.
Ono whalo dived directly in tho course of tho vessel. No shock was felt and the whale was not discovered until the ship anchored.
