VIOLENT SPEECHES.
INDIAN NATIVE LEADERS. LOOKING TO COMING WAR. (Received June 16, 11.45 p.m.) CALCUTTA, June 16. 'A violent speech was made at Ahmedabad by Khan Gaffar Khan, known as " the frontier Gandhi." He said 100,000 Pathans were ready on the northwest frontier to help India to drive the British from the country.
Khan Gatfar said the next fight would be more desperate than the last, and it v,as bound to come.
Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, also made an inflammatory speech at Poona. He urged the Indians to waste no time on the merits of the agreement concluded between Lord Irwin and Mr. Gandhi, and advised preparation for war.
