BRIDGE AFTERNOON.

Lady Stringer was hostess to a number of her friends at a delightful bridgo afternoon given at the Lyceum Club yesterday. Tables wero sot in tho two card rooms and bridge and mah-jong were played and greatly enjoyed, lea was later seived in the lounge, which was looking most attractive with bowls of hydrangeas in shades cf red, green and palest pink and blue. Lady Stringer wore a frock of ecru lace and. a black beret.
