INCIDENT AT HOUSE.
INJURIES TO YOUNG MAN.
POLICE MAKE AN ARREST.
A deep cut on the head and a number of superficial wounds on the bands, arms and chest were received by a young man, Oscar Keefe, at a house in Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, on Saturday evening. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, where liis condition was reported last evening to be not serious. An occupant of the house was later arrested by the Newmarket police and will be brought before the Police Court this morning on a charge of assault. It is believed that Keefe was injured during a struggle for the possession of a knife. The man who was arrested was slightly cut on the chin.
