BLACKBALL MINE IDLE.

LESS WORK AVAILABLE.

MEN INSIST ON SHARING

[by telegraph.—press association.]

GKEYMOUTH, Tuesday

The Blackball Mine, the employees at which were dismissed last week as a prelude to working only a single shift, remains idle owing to the miners not seeking re-engagement until the company agrees to all the members of the union sharing in the available work.

On the other hand the Dobson mine, which also is to work on single shift, probably will continue to work without any interruption, in view of a proposed agreement between the parties to permit all the employees to share the work.
