MAN REPORTED MISSING.

OLD CAMBRIDGE RESIDENT

WALLET AND MONEY FOUND.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday.

A retired farmer, Mr. Andrew Potts, aged 71, who resides in Bowen Street, has been missing from his home since last evening. He left home early in the evening and was last seen near the post office about 10 o'clock. This morning when the first mail was cleared from the* post office bo's a leather wallet containing £ll 17s and receipts bearing Mr. Potts' name, was found sticking in the letter slot in the post office box. The Cambridge police made a thorough search of the Waikato River to-day, but no trace of Mr. Potts was found. He is one of the oldest residents of the district. He farmed in the early days at Bruntwood and also for many years at " The Downs," Karapiro. He retired about 10 years ago and has resided in Cambridge since.
