Another fatality through a man being swept off (lie rocks while fishing occurred last Wednesday 1 evening. Mr. Phil Wright, a New Zealander, who has resided on the island for some time, was sharing a bach with a friend. On Wednesday afternoon they went fishing off the rocks to tho north of Headstone Landing. A very big sea was running.

The friend went to the bach about 6 p.m. to "boil tho billy," Mr. Wright intending to follow a few minutes later. As he did not arrive his mate went to call him. saw the lines in tho water, and concluded Mr. Wright was not far away. Later he became uneasy and spread the alarm. Search parties set to work, but no trace of the missing man has been found, although the search has been continued ever since. The place is dangerous at any time, but with a big sea running it is a veritable death trap.
