FEDERAL POLITICS.

CAUCUS AND MR. SCULLIN.

A COMPROMISE POSSIBLE.

SYDNEY, Dec. 30. The Sydney Morning Herald says it is stated in Federal Labour circles that the Prime Minister, Mr. J. H. Scullin, may avert the threatened Federal crisis upon his return by a compromise with the militant sections of his party.
