MARRIAGE OF A PEER.

LORD CUSHENDUN.

Lord Cushondun has married Miss Catherine Margosson, a daughter of Sir Morti mor Mnrgesson.

Mr. Ronald John McNeill was created Baron Cushondun in 1927. Ho was for many years a Conservative member of the House of Commons, and was Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and actingSecretary of Slato for Foreign Affairs in 1928, after having been Under-Secretary to Sir Austen Chamberlain. He was leading British delegate to the League of Nations in 1928. His first wife, who was Miss Elizabeth Bolitho, died in 1925 Sir Mortimer, Margesson, who was knighted in 1928, is privato secretary to the Earl of Plymouth. He married in 1886 Lady Isabel Hobart Hampden, niater of the Earl of Buckinghamshire.
