CREW LOOT LIQUOR.

STRANDED FINNISH SHIP.

SAILOR KILLED IN A FIGHT.

RIGA, Deo. 29. While a Finnish steamer was stranded during a severe storm in the Baltic Sea, the crow of 48, giving up hope of being rescued, looted a number of cases of smuggled liquor and indulged in a drinking orgy while the ship threatened to break up.

The carousal ended in a fight, in which a sailor was killed by a hammer blow.

Eventually another vessel succeeded in rescuing the crew.
