SHOOTING ACCIDENTS.

TWO BOYS INJURED. MISHAPS NEAR CHRISTCHURCH. [BS TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. Two Christchurch boys were injured in shooting accidents to-day. Frank Hodges, aged 16, who was on a shooting expedition at Greendale, sat down to unload a gun, but the weapon discharged accidentally. The bullet entered his leit foot. G. T. Blackburn, aged 16, who was out shooting at Governor's Bay, was sitting on the grass when another boy's gun hit a rock and discharged. The shot entered Blackburn's right hip. Both lads were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, but their injuries are not serious.

LAD'S FOOT INJURED. MISHAP. AT AVONDALE. Owing to the accidental discharge of a shotgun a boy, Leslie Gurkin, of White Swan Road, Avondale South, received injuries to one of his feet yesterday. The boy was standing near a patch of strawberries waiting to shoot birds when the gun which ho was holding was discharged by accident. The lad was brought to the Auckland Hospital.
