CRICKET AT MELBOURNE. FINE CENTURY BY HARRIS. (Received November 11. 11.25 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Nov. 14. A cricket match between the Australian XI. and J. Ryder's team, for Ryder's testimonial, was begun to-day in wintry weather. Ryder's team, in the first innings, scored 267 for six wickets. Hendry and Harris, the opening pair, gave the sido a good start, adding 82 at tho rate of over a run per minute. Harris went or to compile a chanceless century.
