AN ILLICIT STILL.
POLICE RAID IN SYDNEY. FINE OF £SOO IMPOSED. (Received November 14, 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 11. (n the Newtown Court James Gray, aged 30, pleaded guilty to having had an illicit still He was fined £SOO, in default 12 months' imprisonment. Tho polico had raided a house in the suburb of Marrickvillo on October 31 and discovered one of tho finest illicit stills seized for many years. A quantity of molasses and raw spirit .was also seized.
