PETROL FROM RUSSIA.
LARGE BRITISH TENDER. PURCHASES WORTH £BOO,OOO. (Received November 14, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 13. Tho Daily Express says the British Electrical Federation, which controls huge transport companies in England, has placed a tender for 20,000,000 gallons ot petrol and other Russian oil products owing to the cut in prices. The value of tho tender is about £BOO,OOO. The Express describes this as the beginning-of a new oil war.
