HOME SERVICE.
Although tho Auckland Home Service Association has only just come into existence it has already a list of 150 employer subscribers and many trustworthy efficient workers capable of stepping into any breach in the household arrangements or undertaking any work in the home. A nurse for sickness may be required or someone to help children with lessons, to take charge of them during their parents' absence, do the family's mending, dressmaking, or renovating, the spring cleaning, the cooking or taking charge of the supper for parties. Of ton someone is wanted to take out an invalid, or re-cover furniture. In short, any home duty is undertaken at short notice by the helper members who are waiting to offer efficient help.
