EVENT AT WHANGAREI. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COIUtESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI, Tuesday. Members of the Whangarei Rifle Club shot for tho Rose Bowl trophy ovor the 200 yards and 300 yards ranges. The best scores were:—Slado Clark (3), 4G, 45 —91: P. J. Tobin (2), 41. 43—SO; N. C. Shepherd (6). 41, 42—89 : J. Norris (—), 45, 43—68; W. Norris (4), 43. 40—87; W. Boreham (8), 38, 41—87; E.
