BENEFICIAL RAINS.
NEW SOUTH WALES WHEAT. SYDNEY". Oct. 8. The Director of Agriculture, Mr. A. H. E. McDonald, stated to-day that as a result of fho recent welcome rains the previous estimate of the New South "Wales harvest of 70,000,000 bushels is still possible. Much depended, however, on further falls.
