RAILWAY AWARDS.
EFFECT OF SETTING ASIDE. RE-ENGAGEMENT OF MEN. 1 SYDNEY. Or I. 8. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. T. R. Bavin, announces that as a result of the setting aside of the railway awards a number c-f tho railwaymen who were dismissed are to be reinstated. A message from Melbourne states that 18.000 officers and men will receive less pay and about £130,000 a year will be saved.
