BURGLARIES AT PUKEKOHE.
FOUR PREMISES ENTERED, SMALL SUMS OF MONEY TAKEN* ■ T [by TKLEURAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] rUKEKOHK, Wednesday. Four business premises in Pukekohef were entered ou Tuesday night. The shop of Mr. W. J. Short, hair* dresser and tobacconist, was entered through a window and about 50s was taken. A few shillings were taken from Mr. A. Zarnich's restaurant, which was entered through an already-broken win* dow. Other premises entered were tlia motor engineering works of j\lr. h. Middlemiss, and the shop of Mr. F. J. "Wilson, hairdresser and tobacconist.
Two Maori ono ;il>out 15 year* of ago and llie other about 13 years, vera questioned by tlio police, and they arc (o appear in (he, Pukokoho Children's Court on charges relating to the burglaries.
