TENNIS CLUB BALL.
TROPHIES PRESENTED. Decorated with blue and gold streamers and nikau palms, the East Tamaki Public Hall presented an animated scene last week when tho East Tamaki Tennis Club held its annual dance. Music was provided by the "Carnival Five" orchestra and, during the supper interval, extras were played by Miss Jessie Baverstock. Mr. D. Knight was in charge of tho floor arrangements and programme.
During the evening the trophies won in last season's competitions were presented to the winners by Mrs. H. Christenson. The recipients were Misses Ferguson, Sherry and Mr. Wyman. Among those present were: Mrs. H. Christensen, Mrs. Kemp, Mrs. Ketels, Mrs. A. T. Johnson, Mrs. A. Beltingham, Mrs. J. Kitto, Mrs. E M. Thorpe. Miss E. Queen, Miss D. Brown, Miss T. Sherry, Miss Fairweather, Miss M. Kemp, Miss K. McKee, Miss L. Cryer, Miss Kathleen Cooper, Miss Sybil Gilliard, Miss I. Manning, Miss L. Queen, Miss Margaret Baird, Miss E. F. Jones (Clevedon), Miss I. J. Baird (Ardmore), Miss B. Ferguson, Miss Esther Watts, Miss Jessie Baverstock, Miss Ivy Blake, Miss L. Kingsford, Miss Barrie, Miss A. Ferguson, Mrs. F. Sandford, Mrs. R.
