CRICKET.
HARBOUR BOARD CLUB.
The two teams of the Harbour Board Cricket Club experienced a fairly successful past season, tho A team finishing socond. stated the report presented at the annual meeting of the club. Mr. S. Learning presided. A bat presented for the most improved young player was wori by W. Matthews. Tho following officers wero elected:— Patron, Mr. M. H. Wynyard; .vicepatrons, Messrs. 11. R. Mackenzie, J. S. Hannigan; president, Mr. D. G. Aiken; management committee, Messrs. Breeso, Dunning, Martin, T. Bennett, Jaquiery, Mann, Saxon; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. S. Learning; club captain, Mr. W. Matthews; delegates to Suburban Association, Messrs. Mann, Martin and McConnell. It was decided to enter two teams in the Suburban Association's competitions and to urge the association to appoint an official timekeeper. Seven new members wero elected and the prospects for tho coming season were considered bright.
