TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB.
CHAMPIONSHIP TO MRS. HOSKING
Tho final of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club's championship was played yesterday, Mis. Hosking defeating Mrs Dcighton, 6 and 5. Mrs. Hosking played accurate golf and established a decisive lead early in tho game. Mrs. Dcighton, in particular, was putting far below her usual form. Mrs. Hosking has now established a fine record by winning threo championships in succession during tho last few months. She has won tho ladies championship at One 'lrec Hill, tho Auckland ladies' op<sn provincial championship and tho Titirangi fadies' championship. In the junior championship Miss M. Cooko Meat Mrs. G. A. Taylor, 7 and 6. Miss Cooko played very well through (ho fairways and her all-round play was superior (o that of her opponent. In a four-ball best-ball bogey match Mrs. Johnston and Miss K. llorton returned a card of 5 up. '1 lie next best card was that of Mrs. J. C. I' inlay and Miss K. Fouhy, all square. Tho semi-final of the captain's trophy resulted as follows :-rMiss I\. Horton heat Mrs. Banister, 5 and 3; Mrs. Dcighton beat Miss Cricrson at the 19th.
