TRAMPING CLUB DANCE.

SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. A most enjoyable dance was held last evening by tho Auckland Tramping Club at the Fountain of Friendship Hall. Tho club's colours of royal blue and silver were effectively used as decorations and were also arranged in the supper room. Tho dance music was supplied by the Kit Kat dance band.

Among those present were:—Mrs. McAdam, who wore a frock of green beaded georgette and fringe; Mrs. Watters, cyclamen georgette and lace; Mrs. Derrick, mist blue georgette and ecru lace; Mrs. Guy, black lace over pink satin; Mrs. Cormack, gold and red brocaded lame; Miss Humphreys, daffodil hand-painted georgette; Miss Finnis, powder blue moire with touches of pink; Miss Hilda Smith, printed blue taffeta with hip bow; Miss Sheffield, petunia taffeta and lace; Miss Sandham, rose pink georgette; Miss Wagsley, jado satin and georgette; Miss Baxter, cameo pink georgette \vith rosebud trimming; Miss Thomas, lemon georgette; Miss Coakley, delphinium blue georgette; Miss Beatty, royal blue georgette; Miss Skcgg, primrose polka-dotted net; Miss M. Tucker, fuchsia crepe satin; Miss L. Slaughter, pink chenille georgette; Miss M. Smith, flame georgette with velvet flowers; Miss Lord, turquoise bluo frilled georgette; Miss T. Brame, bluo chiffon; Miss M. Brown, Saracen red crepe de chino and silver' laco; Miss Dorothy Rawle, pink georgette with embroidered hem of lace; Miss Hilda Potter, blue taffeta; Miss P. Fielder, jado georgette; Miss M. McQuarrie, sea foam frilled georgette; Miss Hymes, rose pink georgette; Miss Muriel Porter, applo green georgette, with pink taffeta hip bow; Miss Pawle, printed beige and tangerine flowered taffeta.
