CAPSIZE AT A BRIDGE.
CAR FALLS DOWN BANK. TWO MEN SLIGHTLY HURT. [BY 'JEI.EGn.mi.~~OWN CORTJESrONDENT.J MEKCER, Monday. A light three-seater motor-car capsize! last evening at tlic approach to the wooden bridge on tlie Great .South Road about a mile south of llangiriri, and the driver, ■Mr. I). Cieagh, of Ohinewai, and a companion who was with him, were slightly injured. Mr. Creagh was cut on the face and received a severe blow on the ell.ov, which bruised and temporarily paralysed the arm. His companion xceived a- cut on the wrist.
The approach to the bridge involves a .sharp turn. Mr. Creagh was returning from .Auckland to Ohinewai. and thp capsize occurred as he was taking the approach. The car grazed the bridge and rolled some lOi't. down the bank, but fortunately stopped short of the water. The car was considerably damaged.
