DEFINITION BY COURT.
Tho Arbitration Court has issued its decision on the problem placed before it, whether a girl employed as a pattern clerk in a special department of a drapery store camo under tho Shop Assistants' Award. Her work was to cut a strip of material from the, bolt and then have this cut into samples with a sample-cut-ting machine. Tho Court has decided that whether tho work performed included or did not include tho cutting of strips of material from tho bolts it, was not work coming within the scope of the award.
