JUDGES' DILEMMA.
An extraordinary position arose in (ho 50-milcs road race conducted by tnc League of Victorian Wheelmen on July 5. Places could not be. allotted definitely o\viiK r to mi extraordinary incident. Hi roe riders in the leading positions tell and scattered the judges. The first man, E. Buckley, of Oohurg, wis selected definitely, but the other places could not bo decided. The judges, Messrs. .1. Sandham and L. Dobbie. who were about to take the numbers of (lie first and second men, had their attention distracted Ironi the race in trying to avoid the fallen i idcto.
