WAITEMATA CLUB. NEW RECORD FOR LINKS. A record round for tho Waitemata Golf Club's links has been established by W. F. Warren with a scoro of 62, I!o was playing in a three-ball game with F. J. Lascelles and M. J. Bailey. Warren, who has a somewhat unorthodox style, has been Waitemata Club champion on several occasions, but docs not now play in tho competitions*. A satisfactory arrangement has been made between the Waitemata Golf Club and tho Takapuna Jockey Club, having as its object a new layout of tho Waitemata links. The improvements will bo carried out at tho end of tho present season. The links will bo lengthened by approximately 1100 yards, permitting an increase in membership.
