ALSATIAN DOGS.

EXHIBITION AT SHOWS.

EXCLUSION NOT FAVOURED.

Alsatian dogs weio discussed al tho annual conference of tho Auckland Provincial Council of Afliliated Agricultural and I'astoral Associations yesterday. After considerable discussion It was decided not to recommend tlio exclusion of Alsatian dogs from shows held throughout the province.

Tho matter was introduced by the receipt of a letter from the New Zealand Alsatian Club, which viewed with concern Iho remit passed at tho Royal Agricultural Society's conference last week exc hiding Alsatian dogs from tho Royal Show. Tho club thought that the remit had been prompted by the piejudiee and antagonism evidenced in isolated quarters against this breed of dog since its introduction into the country some six years ago. It stated that many attacks against the, breed, both in England and New Zealand, had been proved upon investigation to bo entirely devoid of truth.
