HOSPITAL BOARD LEVY. [ IJV TELKUIIAI'II. —OWN COIIIIKSrONDENT. ] TAUHANGA, Friday. Tho Tauranga Hospital Board's levy for the current year is apportioned as follows :—Tauranga County Council, £2498; Tauranga, Borough Council, £909; To Puko Town Board, £337. Tho levy on the contributing bodies is slightly less than last year. A pino tree 40 years old felled on a local property recently was 150 ft. high. At the annual meeting of the Katikati Agricultural and Pastoral Association tho president congratulated members on the success of the last show, and also on tho very satisfactory financial position of the association. Tho property, with substantial buildings, was now free of debt. Mr. W. J- Andrews was elected president and Mr. P. Blomquist was reappointed secretary.
