GOOD YEAR AT OPOTIKI. VERY SUCCESSFUL SHOW. [BIT TELEGRAPH.—-OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OPpmj, -Sunday. Tho annual meeting of the Opotiki A. and P. Association was held at : the weekend, Clark, presiding. The report stated that last year's operations were very, successful. The show was the most successful functipn for,years. The year commenced ,with , a debit balance of £9 15s and; finished with-a. credit of £B3/ The assets were £658 and the liabilities nil. Great credit was due to" the ladies' committee. ' •' The election of officers resulted President, Mr. C. T. Clark; vice-presidents, Messrs. M. B.' Abbot and P. W. .lipid; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. Bi'aae; auditors, Messrs. N. P. Pattle and H. Rowland. Messrs. A. Young, W. Lowe, J. H. Parkinson, M. Roberts, J. T. Clark and C. VV. JRcid were appointed to tho vacancies on the committee. - Recommendations were made to the incoming committee to repair the cattle yards and also to make an effort to increase the membership.
