BEQUESTS TO CHARITY.
SUM OF £3OOO GIVEN. [by telegraph.—press association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Subject to a pertain life interest to his widow, the will of the late Mr. Frederick Marton, of Christchurch and Timaru, provides for bequests to charity amounting to over £3OOO. Tho following organisations will benefit:—£looo to St. Andrew's Church, Penrith, England; £SOO to Dr. Barnardo's Homes, England; £SOO to St. Dunstan's Institute for Blind Soldiers; £SOO to the blind soldiers of New Zealand ; £SOO to St. Saviour's Orphanage, of Canterbury.
